*2025 stock. 140 copies limited edition* First album in 26 years from Italian brothers Giancarlo and Roberto Drago, the Genoese duo behind one of the most significant minimal-industrial projects to emerge from Italy's "Anni di Piombo" (Years of Lead). Active from 1982 to 1993, The Tapes released over twenty cassettes on their own Industrial Tapes label before moving to legendary imprints like Minus Habens and Amen.

Their inclusion in the Strut compilation Mutazione: Italian Electronic & New Wave Underground 1980-1988 brought renewed attention to their primitive industrial minimalism. News From Nowhere marks a long-awaited return, with tracks like "Der Kindergarten" and "Gravity Zero" demonstrating that the brothers' approach - mutant synths, cold beats, distorted voices and metallic noise - remains uncompromised. Available in limited white vinyl editions, including a special package with the 7" Jurij (A Tribute To Jurij Alekseevic Gagarin).
