Gianluca Becuzzi

*2025 stock. 190 copies limited edition* Veteran electroacoustic composer Gianluca Becuzzi plunges into abyssal territories with DeepeR, a work that lives up to its title by descending into increasingly profound sonic depths. Active since the 1980s, Becuzzi brings his decades of experience in sound art and vocal experimentation to create an immersive journey beneath the surface of conventional listening.

Each track represents a further descent, where pressure increases and light diminishes, replaced by bioluminescent flashes of processed electronics and field recordings. The album demonstrates Becuzzi's mastery of spatial composition, creating three-dimensional environments where the listener becomes a deep-sea explorer navigating through currents of sound that are simultaneously beautiful and alien.
