condition (disc/cover): NM/NM. Teresa Procaccini (b. 1934) showcases her mastery of concertante writing in this spectacular collection featuring guitar, piano, and orchestra. Performed by the exceptional duo of guitarist Lapo Vannucci and pianist Luca Torrigiani with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra under Nicola Giuliani, the program includes Procaccini's Concerto for Guitar, Piano and Orchestra Op. 246 (2017) – a work of joyful vivaciousness, lyrical intimacy, and elegant wit. The central Andante espressivo creates dreamy, bell-like atmospheres, while outer movements showcase rhythmic brilliance and unexpected exotic colors.
