*Printed inner sleeve and an additional lyric sheet. A download card via Bandcamp is also included.* This is the second album by Cologne-based musician Vomit Heat. The sound and structure of this ten-part masterpiece reveal themselves abstractly in an exceedingly dense surface, in dynamic rhythms, in driving bass runs, flat guitars and synthesizers, combined with a confident and multi-faceted voice. They resound with a density that Vomit Heat created from the countless layers of layered sound he recorded and repeatedly discarded over the past six years until he finally found that second skin that is here now. The production praises the carpet-like, suction-like sound surfaces of My Bloody Valentine, the clever and enthusiastically also on the avant-garde trained pop access reminds of Bradford Cox's Deerhunter, the repetition shows itself inspired by Wolfgang Voigt's early GAS.
