Following the trails of 2008's "Remote Aktion" LP on Diophantine, Sshe Retina Stimulants is back with a brand new slice of vinyl, stretching even further the conceptual and methodological framework of the previous work... starting from acoustic guitar as the only source input , environmental feedback effects and real-time manipulation / sampling have been applied to booze up the outcome and create a screaming thunderstorm of delighted noise.
Totally dense bubbles inflate and burst like organic super-novas, exploring the forgotten areas of post (pre) apocalyptic soundscapes ... iridescent stratification and pathological arrangement lead through language and iconic references to buried cultures and ghost towns, longing for gates to unexpected forms of resistance to media oppression.
Four long tracks build the case for another step in the current SRS infatuation for repressed anachronisms as tools for liberation…. laughing while deadly serious, globally serious while locally fixated: SLOW BLASTS & PERPETUAL WAILS… SOOTHING & DISTRESSED…A NEW GEOGRAPHY OF LOST MEMORY. LP comes in a deluxe silver silk screen on black cardboard sleeve limited to 120 hand numbered copies w/insert.
