A Flower library record with a title that translates as "Time of Demons, Popes, Angels, Incense and Hair Shirts," which is a fair summary of the Italian Catholic imagination in the early seventies and of this album's brief: cues for religious documentaries and historical programmes, by Stefano Marcucci and Luciano Bellini, running from organ and choir solemnity to something closer to horror.
