**Special Bundle, yellow and blue vinyls. Very few copies available** Two absolutely stunning, long out of print early artifacts from Nurse With Wound's seminal catalog - 1980's To the Quiet Men from a Tiny Girl and Merzbild Schwet - reissued on vinyl in limited editions from Dirter, that can't be missed. Both take huge strides toward rethinking notions of avant-garde music was during the dawn of the 80s, and remain as pregnant with the potential for contemporary influence today, as the already have in the past.

Sprawling across more than 40 years of activity, few musical endeavors have been as influential, while remaining almost entirely indefinable in character, as the seminal British outfit, Nurse With Wound. Founded as a trio in 1978 by Steven Stapleton, John Fothergill, and Heman Pathak, by the early 80s the band had morphed into a solo vehicle for Stapleton’s maverick and creative mind, as it has remained, producing well over a hundred full lengths and a startling number of EPs over the decades since. Often regarded as one of the key act in the inception of industrial music, Nurse With Wound has always managed to defy its own history, resting comfortably in no genre or sharply defined creative terrify. It is a petulant, rebellious child of punk and the post-war avant-garde, incarcerating the voices of remarkable cast of rotating collaborators to pushing into forward into new realms. During recent years, attention has often entered around reissues of albums from Stapleton’s seminal NNW list.

Fortunately now, we get a chance to shine some light on two early endeavors that began it all, the band’s second LP, To the Quiet Men from a Tiny Girl, originally issued in 1980 and out of print on vinyl for roughly 30 years, and their third, Merzbild Schwet from later that same year. Both have out of print on vinyl for roughly 30 years, and have now been reissued by Dirter/United Diaries in beautiful editions that are not to be missed.
