Bernard Lubat is the jazz drummer, pianist and vibraphonist from Uzeste who played with Stan Getz and Eddy Louiss, founded a festival in his village that became a French institution, and spent the seventies doing session and library work between gigs. Vibrations on Tele Music, the leading French production label, is one of the results: vibraphone-led jazz cues, funky and open, with Lubat's rhythmic intelligence everywhere.
Tele Music records are the French equivalent of KPM in prestige and this is a fine one. Original pressing.
