2011 US re-issue on 180g vinyl on 4 Men With Beards of the 1975 live double-album.

condition (records/cover): NM / EX

Gatefold sleeve. No insert.

February 1st, 1975, Osaka, the afternoon show. Miles Davis was in constant physical pain, months away from a retirement that would last five years, and playing with a band that had refined the electric approach into something genuinely unprecedented: Pete Cosey sitting cross-legged behind a table of effects making guitar sounds that had no name yet, Reggie Lucas and Michael Henderson holding down a groove of immense weight, Sonny Fortune supplying the only conventionally beautiful sound in the room. Two hours of it, unedited. The evening performance became Pangaea. Together they are the last word on the whole period.

Reissue on 4 Men With Beards, double LP with the original Tadanori Yokoo artwork. Still one of the most extreme records ever released by a major label.
