After the Messa Alleluia the Pro Civitate kept Marcello Giombini busy, and Camminiamo nella speranza ("We Walk in Hope") is one of the follow-ups: songs for the assembly in the same beat-liturgical idiom, electric guitars and organ under choral melodies designed to be learned in one hearing. Giombini's gift was for a tune that a congregation could carry, and the record is full of them.
It belongs to the moment when the Italian Church, briefly, sounded like the country outside its doors. PCC original, MS series.
