By the mid-seventies Marcello Giombini had discovered synthesizers, and I semi del futuro ("The Seeds of the Future") is where the beat mass meets the Moog: sacred songs with electronic arrangements, sequencers and string machines under the voices, the Assisi catalogue's entry into the cosmic. The same instinct produced his secular Computer Disco records a few years later.
