"I Will Sing Peace": Marcello Giombini's peace songs for the Assisi label, part of the run of albums that followed the Messa Alleluia and of his larger project of the 150 Salmi per il nostro tempo, the psalms reset for the present, begun in 1968 and completed in 1972. Guitars, organ, voices, the beat-mass manner applied to the Franciscan theme that Assisi, of all places, could hardly avoid.
