Die Tödliche Doris were among the most radical of West Berlin's Geniale Dilletanten, the early-1980s scene that also produced Einstürzende Neubauten and Malaria!. Founded by Wolfgang Müller and Nikolaus Utermöhlen, the group spent its short life asking whether one could make something out of sound and noise that was not music, and answering yes in the strangest possible ways. Fallersleben recovers a lost early concert from 1981, one of their first, and brings it to record for the first time.

Released in 2004 by Vinyl-On-Demand, the label whose whole purpose is rescuing exactly this kind of vanished underground document. Difficult, historic, and not for the faint of heart.
