condition (record/cover): VG+ (light surface noise throughout) / EX+ . A pioneering voice in Italian contemporary music! Irma Ravinale (1937-2013), distinguished composer and educator, studied with Goffredo Petrassi at Rome's Conservatory of Santa Cecilia, Nadia Boulanger in Paris, and Karlheinz Stockhausen in Cologne. This rare LP presents Jointly, a significant work from a composer who bridged Italian tradition with international avant-garde. A member of the International Honour Committee of Fondazione Donne in Musica and Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, Ravinale created a body of work balancing rigorous contemporary technique with expressive communication.
