***restocked, very last copies** "2nd and final set from that legendary concert, here's a review i found on the net about part I: Unbelievable previously unreleased live electric Miles blow-out from January 1974: this is a mind-blower, with the electric group at an insane high energy over-amped peak. Not many live recordings exist from 1974, the same era as Dark Magus etc. Here Miles is paired with Dave Liebman, guitarist Pete Cosey, Reggie Lucas, Michael Henderson, Al Foster and Mtume and the fidelity is garage band perfect. Liebman just drools over beams of cluster-fuck keyboards while the band are on full house-rocking cyber behemoth style, with Cosey and Miles working the wah-wah to the point of whiplash. But it’s the insane phased keyboard violence that pushes the whole deal over the edge, with a gridlocked sci-fi Sister Ray appeal that is uniquely synapse-splitting. Liebman and Miles hook up strong on this one, playing faster and heavier than usual, really duelling, while the percussion army build thrift industrial constructions that still have the ability to shiver like quicksilver. Miles always got stick for being down on free jazz but anyone who ever fell for that as the sign of some kind of innate musical conservativism should be held down and forced to listen to this monster of a side, with some of the wildest most purely ‘out’ playing of Miles’ career and a band that moves from astro funk through droning machine noise and endless high energy testifying like they had just invented goddamn music. A miraculous unearthing, one of the heaviest releases of the year, but make your move fast, this one is set to be swallowed by the void forever." punzmann
