Guido De Angelis, Maurizio De Angelis

Restocked! And long awaited...Sub Ost present the complete edition of Guido & Maurizio De Angelis's soundtrack the 1975 film Roma Violenta. This is the complete original soundtrack (with all the outtakes) for one of the most iconic Italian "poliziotteschi" films, the Italian answer to the Charles Bronson/Clint Eastwood mania of the 1970s.
This soundtrack is complete with the typical variations on the main theme we come to expect with Italian soundtracks: altered tempo, addition and subtraction of instruments from track to track, etc. Roma Violenta in particular forays into jazzy and blues territory on certain efforts, and the tandem are particularly deadly when they bust out the electric guitars.Written by the brothers De Angelis, the score alternates between killer, funk grooves and more laidback instrumentals. Presented here for the first time on two LPs; Comes in a gatefold sleeve, with original artwork and film stills.
