Superstar is a split single by the band Sonic Youth along with several others, depending on the version of the release. It belongs to the tribute album to The Carpenters entitled If I Were a Carpenter, released in September 1994 by the A&M Records label. Side A includes the "Superstar" theme, while Side B contains "Yesterday Once More" by Redd Kross.
