On Composed Nature / Yokomono Pro, the innovative Staalplaat Sound System joins forces with Lola Landscape Architects to create a unique LP at the intersection of sound art, architecture, and environmental design. Known for their large-scale installations and mechanical sound sculptures, Staalplaat here explores the sonic possibilities of landscapes, urban spaces, and public interventions.
The album features field recordings, mechanical rhythms, and processed environmental sounds, evoking the work of pioneers like Christina Kubisch, Bill Fontana, and Bernhard Leitner. The result is an immersive listening experience that blurs the boundaries between composition, installation, and the lived environment—a must for fans of experimental sound and site-specific art.
