1988 self-released album by the German experimental theatre and free improvisation group active since the late 1960's. Never re-issued on either LP or CD.

Both sides carry the same title, because Das Tagstück is one piece of music theatre for four players, captured in a performance on 21 February 1988. Carmen Nagel-Berninger wrote and directed it for the Phren theatre group as its twelfth project, and she also wrote the notes.
The performers are Michael Kopfermann, Peter Fjodoroff, Thomas Hirsch and Wilhelm Riemenschneider, and the record sits between free improvisation, contemporary composition and spoken dialogue. The group issued it on its own Phren Verlag.
