Dictée Magique condenses the art of live collage and vocal layering into a rhythmic and poetic dialogue. The album features four turntable improvisations by DJ **** and Sainte Rita, centering on spoken records - voices are mixed, interrupted, and recombined, creating a continuous interplay of language and sound.

*100 copies limited release.* Dictée Magique, is the result of a unique collaboration between DJ **** and Sainte Rita. Using four turntables and a selection of voice-based records, the duo constructs inventive collages where vocal fragments interplay - sometimes overlapping, sometimes interrupting each other. The core of the project is the human voice in all its forms: babble, speech, archival documents, reports, and even elements of dada poetry. Each sound becomes a piece of a larger sonic tapestry, suggesting that any vocal trace - regardless of origin - has poetic potential.

The creative process relies on real-time improvisation, with both artists engaging in a visual and performative dialogue at the decks. Though the recordings document these live sessions, they are just a shadow of the physical energy and gestures involved. DJ **** brings experience as a record collector, writer, and translator, with a deep focus on prosody and spoken performance, ideas further developed in her theoretical writing. Sainte Rita complements this with an eclectic mixing approach and a strong connection to the French dance and poetic scenes, blending archival interest with his own text-based work and broader sonic experiments.
