Swiss guitarist Florian Stoffner brings a deeply personal approach to free improvisation. This solo release expands on the exploratory drive that has shaped his work as both a bandleader and collaborator. Drawing on the subtle command of texture and space heard in trio recordings such as Braids and The Glass Changes Shape, on bijou he stretches the guitar’s vocabulary through inventive spontaneity, crafting a focused and intimate musical statement.
