Still sealed copy of the sole edition of the 1978 album on Music Gallery Editions with original experimental music for glass instruments performed by John Kuipers, Marvin Green, Miguel Frasconi, Paul Hodge and V. Eric Cadesky. Never re-issued on either CD or LP.

condition (record/cover): M / M (still sealed)

The Glass Orchestra came together in Toronto in 1977, out of York University and the Music Gallery, with a rule it has kept ever since: every instrument is made of glass. The players built most of them by hand, glass harmonicas, flutes and xylophones among them, alongside found objects, and the music is made of the chiming, rubbing and ringing of the material.

This first album has the quintet of John Kuipers, Marvin Green, Miguel Frasconi, Paul Hodge and V. Eric Cadesky. It was issued in 1978 by Music Gallery Editions, the label the Toronto venue ran between 1977 and 1981.
