Cello Anthology
*We've managed to get a few copies of the 'Artist's Proof Edition' of this box set which include 4 CDs, a 154-page book, 16 full-color poster inserts, and a LP in screenprinted cover.* Charlotte Moorman answered her phone and people left messages. Between performances of 26'1.1499" for a String Player and television appearances inside Nam June Paik's TV Cello, between organizing fifteen editions of the New York Avant Garde Festival and being arrested for indecent exposure during Opera Sextroniqu…
Early Works
Bill Fontana investigates the physics of perception itself. Side A: tape collages where sound becomes both material and force. Side B: Wave Spiral for 5 Rin Gongs - a sidelong, 21-minute centerpiece where pure sine waves create interference patterns, frequency made sculptural. Sound spiraling through space, dissolving boundaries between observer and phenomenon.
One and Many Flutes
One and Many Flutes by Hannah Todt transforms steel tubes into a playful and subtly radical modular installation, offering airy, slow-motion explorations of sound through individually voiced mouth holes. The album foregrounds tactile resonance and fragmentation, inviting listeners into a sonic space akin to slow Japanese flute traditions, balancing minimalist freedom with community-driven performance practice.
Akustisches Abreaktionsspiel

The B-side features grey/black art by Nam June Paik. This extraordinary document captures Paik performing his radical reinterpretation of Arnold Schoenberg's Verklärte Nacht at a Merce Cunningham dance event—playing the original 78 RPM record at 16 RPM, four times slower than intended. Paik writes in the liner notes: "In 2 weeks I will be 45. It i…
Afrikan Klavierkonzert
The tape Afrikan Klavierkonzert by Rolf Julius, recorded in 1980 and now reissued by Counter Culture Chronicles, reveals the German artist’s delicate approach to sound: sparse piano textures, environmental resonance, and a restrained poetics of listening that dissolve boundaries between music, silence, and space itself.
Ulises Carrion
The self-titled tape by Ulises Carrión, reissued by Counter Culture Chronicles, revisits his elusive Trios & Boleros, a work once privately circulated. Here, Carrión reimagines popular form through a deconstructed lens, where fragments of music and voice are refracted into conceptual gestures that linger between intimacy, satire, and radical sonic experimentation.
Morgen II
Morgen II by Pier van Dijk and Robert Joseph revives the radical Dutch sound poetry of the 1980s. This tape, released by Counter Culture Chronicles, documents a sprawling word-piece where language fractures, collides, and reforms, blurring the divide between voice and noise, gesture and rhythm, memory and rupture.
Baroque Non Baroque #27815 (LP)
*110 copies limited edition. Includes repulsive cover photo and hand-stamped labels* ‘Nothing compares to you’ was about Peter Fengler and Sinéad was right! There’s no losers here, just the bare and brutal leftovers of a very long night or a really early morning. Is the sound your uncle Peter makes sexy or sexist? Is knocking on wood kinky or slapping the salami sufficient? Is it a Karlheinz with a Karlsquell or a Cage with a Cara? Or just tins for fears? Complex comparisons more zonked than the…

A Square of Silence (Book)
Rare artist book. What is the shape of silence? How do we visualize and experience the invisible world of listening? In his acclaimed book A Square of Silence, multimedia artist Goran Vejvoda offers a poetic and conceptual exploration of the act of hearing, the spaces of sound, and the metaphors that connect our bodies, technologies, and environments. Building on decades of investigation into the boundaries of sound, silence, and perception, Vejvoda uses photography, conceptual writing, and visu…
Arbejde er det, der adskiller os fra dyrene
Haxholm & Kirstein's performance installation is a carefully planned two-day process involving smoke, lime, various containers, sound, movement and physical work - inside and outside the museum's grounds. The work explores connections between the sublime and the banal, between the work of the day and the elongated time of the material. Between these poles are energy exchanges and feedback processes that transform and dissolve themselves. The duo's works address a field between performative sound…
