There are albums that you can‘t stop listening to. That is “Boom Boom” by Atomic. Earlier released on CD only, this reissue on LP will provide a great joy for vinyl addicts. Now already a classical Atomic album includes a unique design with a special numbered insert.
"Great work from one of the most groundbreaking combos in the current Norwegian scene – Atomic, a group who really bring strong promise to a long tradition of modern Scandinavian jazz! The set, which has an endorsement by Ken Vandermark, follows strongly in the style of some of Vandermark's trans-Atlantic work – freely expressing its own modern ideals, but also with one ear firmly conscious of a history of left-of-center jazz. The tracks are starkly modern, but have a surprising amount of swing and soul – and the quintet's lineup features tenor, trumpet, piano, bass, drums, and percussion. Titles include "Toner Fran For", "Praeludium", "Re Lee", "Cleaning The Dome", "Feets From Above", and "Pyramid Song". Dustygroove.com
