Lucky Restock - Limited Quantities. Please note: these are original copies that may show minor sleeve wear due to long-term storage. The vinyl is in excellent condition. Issued in 1997 by the Italian label Plastic Records, Harlem Shuffle collects fourteen tracks from the soundtracks and the soul and funk records that grew up around Black cinema in the late sixties and seventies. The sleeve calls them "14 essential cult tracks from the Black Cinema", digitally remastered. Compiled by Alessandro Querci and Massimo Bressan.

Isaac Hayes takes four of the fourteen places, among them the main title from Truck Turner and Bumpy's Lament from his score for Shaft. Curtis Mayfield appears three times, with Pusher Man from Super Fly next to Short Eyes and We're A Winner. The Blackbyrds supply three instrumentals, and the second side opens with Melvin Van Peebles and Come On Feet, written for Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song and played by an early Earth, Wind & Fire. Booker T. Jones, The Bar-Kays and Leroy Hutson round out the selection.
