Original and sole edition on Edizioni di Cultura Popolare of the 1976 Italian folk jazz album, a "voyage through Mediterranean folk music" by the pianist's New Jazz Society quintet. Never re-issued on either LP or CD.

condition (record/cover): EX+ / VG+ (light ring and general wear)

Oleodotti A Sud Est, the title track, is built on a Sicilian tarantella, and the subtitle of the album, a journey through Mediterranean popular music, describes the plan. Claudio Lo Cascio, the Palermo pianist who spent his life organising jazz in Sicily, leads the New Jazz Society quintet through a programme that reaches well beyond the Mediterranean.

Next to his own Dalla Gente Alla Gente and Milicia, the band plays Tandarica by the Romanian Johnny Răducanu, Call by the German pianist Michael Naura, Siodmawka by the Polish saxophonist Zbigniew Namysłowski and the traditional Gifte Telli. Renato D'Anna plays electric violin, Rosario Vizzini electric guitar, Franco Messina electric bass and Salvatore Cammarata drums, so this jazz-folk has a fusion rhythm section underneath. Franco Fayenz wrote the notes for Edizioni Di Cultura Popolare.
