Michel Vogel

(mint LP in generic innersleeve - original printed innersleeve with minimal storage yellowing is also included)  On Une Petite Musique de Nuit, Michel Vogel continues his exploration of the resonant possibilities of gongs, cymbals, and prepared metal. Vogel, a key figure in the French experimental percussion tradition, crafts music that is both meditative and richly textured. The album unfolds as a series of nocturnal meditations, where each overtone and vibration is given space to breathe. Vogel’s approach recalls the deep listening practices of Pauline Oliveros and the minimalist explorations of Eliane Radigue, while his focus on resonance and timbre places him in the lineage of percussionists like Pierre Favre and Andrea Centazzo.

Une Petite Musique de Nuit is an invitation to deep listening—a sonic environment that rewards patience and attention, and a highlight of the Planam catalogue for fans of minimalism and sound art.
