*300 copies limited edition* After 10 years in the making 2021 saw the screen premiere of Kärma Burg's feature-film documentary "Die Experimente des Naum Kotik" (The Experiments of Naum Kotik), delving into the experiments in psycho-physical energy by Russian neurologist Naum Kotik (1876-1920) in the early 20th century. These were adop ted by his grandson Naum Kotik Jr. using his grand father's fundamental research to expand, not to say to revolutionize the possibilities of film making. Kärma Burg combines long passages of Naum Kotik Jr.'s own "Mädchen in schmutzigen Schürzen" (Girls In Dirty Aprons) - the film he was working on - and excerpts of an interview Burg made with Kotik Jr., carrying the reflections of his grand father to the next level. A fantastic work of editing, which takes us into Kotik's very own world of telepathy and experimental film making in a way hardly to be seen in today's world of film.

"‘The Experiments of Naum Kotik’ by Karma Burg is art. It makes us think, contemplate and feel the action that happens on screen. The colors, the sound, and the visual juxtaposition are well integrated in a seam less narrative style, bringing us closer to the actualization of the thoughts and memories of Naum Kotik himself."

The Blu-Ray features both the German and English language version of the film as well as 20 minutes of bonus material.

The CD has the soundwork Column One made for "Die Experimente des Naum Kotik", presenting a very own movie itself, so to speak. Electronic, organic and orchestral sounds and voices --- all used and intertwined in the very special way the trio has been well known for over the years. It comes as no surprise that the things you can hear here you may not see in the movie over there and vice versa. A full album of 40 minutes that perfectly works with or without its cinematic counterpart.

A two disc set in 8-panel Digifile packaging including four postcards. Artwork by Robert Schalinski, mastering by Rashad Becker, released in an edition of 300 copies and happily presented in a joint venture by 90%
Wasser and Fragment Factory.
