The album is a collage of catchy hooks, lo-fi textures, spontaneous arrangements, and absurdist humor, evoking the spirit of The Residents, Half Japanese, and the early days of Rough Trade.
The tracks jump between genres with gleeful abandon, mixing elements of punk, pop, noise, and improvisation. Each song is a miniature world, full of surprises and moments of genuine invention. The band’s irreverence and playfulness are infectious, making Instant Coffee! a record that is as fun as it is challenging.

LP with hand-printed front cover, limited to 380 copies. Packed in a cardboard sleeve, with a protective sleeve also made from the same paper, with inscription: "Instant Coffee! recommends taking good care of your new vinyl record; always slip it into this protective sleeve before putting it away."
This music was improvised, lightly edited and in one case (Clumsy Dumpster) recombined. Recorded at home in Baltimore in 2009.
