Récréation Concertante (Terzo Concerto per Orchestra) (1952–53): A five-movement work known for its vivid, spiritoso textures. Quarto Concerto per Orchestra d’Archi (1954): Composed specifically for string orchestra, this work consists of seven connected sections (Placidamente through Allegro giusto) and is noted for its rigorous, imaginative use of string timbres.
