Per gli uccelli was published in Milan in 1977 by Multhipla, Gianni Sassi's publishing house linked to Cramps Records, in a translation by the composer Walter Marchetti. It was presented in Milan at the time of Cage's Empty Words concert at the Teatro Lirico. 275 pages with photographs and illustrations.
